Irving (back) sits out as Mavericks lose to Nuggets

Dallas guard Kyrie Irving, who had played in four games for the Mavericks since his trade from the Brooklyn Nets, was ruled out of Wednesday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets — his club’s final game before the All-Star break — because of low back tightness.
