NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 16, 2021) – Nashville Soccer Club in partnership with ESPN 94.9, the club’s official radio station, announced today the launch of the NSC Backstage, a new show that will air on ESPN 94.9 at 7 p.m. CT on select Monday nights starting June 21.
Hosted by Nashville SC broadcast voices Tony Husband and Jamie Watson, the one-hour show will feature a rotation of Nashville SC coaches and players as well as other soccer personalities from across Major League Soccer. Nashville SC Captain Dax McCarty will be the first special guest to feature in the show.
“This show has been in the works for a while now and we’re so glad to bring this to life on our radio and digital platforms,” ESPN 102.5 The Game and ESPN 94.9 Program Director Ryan Porth said. “NSC Backstage will provide a unique angle to the club, where fans will get different insights on the stars they watch every season.”

Through the remainder of the 2021 season, there will be nine live shows of NSC Backstage. In addition to 94.9 FM, the video show will stream live on 102.5 The Game’s Periscope, Twitch and YouTube channels.
